Conventional Fishing Overview

Nicholas Dean Lodge offers a unique and diverse angling experience for Steelhead and Salmon on the Skeena Watershed, Nass Watershed, and Pacific Ocean, We have restricted access to high quality, world renowned Steelhead and Salmon Streams including the Copper River, Kalum River, Skeena River, Bel-Irving River, and many more. If the finest Steelhead and Salmon fishing in the world is your taste, we can satisfy your appetite.

Conventional Fishing

We have the worlds largest Wild Steelhead with fisheries in the Spring, Summer, Fall, and Early Winter. The salmon runs of the Skeena Region are impressive top say the least with Chinook (King) Salmon averaging 20 to 50 pounds and up to 100+ pounds, Coho (Silver) Salmon averaging 8 to 15 pounds and up to 30+ pounds, and prolific runs of Sockeye, Pink, and Chum Salmon. There are also Coastal Cutthroat Trout, Rainbow Trout, Bull Trout, Dolly Varden Char, and Lake Trout available in good numbers.
